Overview

The Road to Phnom Penh 2026 marks the grand finale of the CPF competitive season — an qualification-only tournaments of the last trimester 2026 featuring the best padel players in Cambodia. Throughout the trimester, players will be competing and collecting points in the Race to Road to Phnom Penh, the official CPF leaderboard.

The top players from this ranking now earn the right to compete for the ultimate title, national prestige, and the final ranking points of the year.

This event is not only a championship but also a showcase of the highest level of padel in Cambodia — gathering the country’s most skilled and competitive players in a celebration of sport and excellence.

Participation in the Road to Phnom Penh is by qualification only, based on the official CPF Race to Road to Phnom Penh Rankings — the year-long leaderboard tracking player performances and accumulated points across all CPF-sanctioned tournaments.

Qualification Process

The qualification process follows a progressive and transparent approach to ensure the strongest field possible:

  1. Sequential Player Invitations:

    • The process begins with the highest-ranked player on the Race to Road to Phnom Penh leaderboard.

    • Players will be contacted one by one by the organizers to confirm their participation in the Road to Phnom Penh tournament.

  2. Partner Nomination:

    • Upon confirming participation, the invited player must nominate a partner of their choice to form a team.

    • The nominated partner will also be contacted by the organizers to confirm participation.

  3. Team Formation by Ranking Order:

    • Once a team is confirmed (both players agree to participate), that team is officially added to the list for that category.

    • The process continues down the ranking until 6 teams per category are confirmed.

    • The first 6 confirmed teams form the Men’s A, Women’s A, and Mixed A divisions.

    • The next 6 confirmed teams make up the Men’s B, and Mixed B divisions.

    • The following 6 confirmed teams (where applicable) form the Men’s C and Mixed C divisions.

Eligibility Conditions

To maintain the credibility and prestige of the tournament, the following eligibility requirements apply to all players:

Alternates and Replacements
  • If a player or partner withdraws prior to the tournament draw, the next eligible player on the Race leaderboard will be invited to fill the spot.

  • If one member of a confirmed team withdraws, the remaining player may nominate a new partner who meets all eligibility criteria before the official draw is published.

Tournament Structure

Each category will consist of two stages:

  1. Group Stage
